WHAT: Danville Regional is hosting a community-wide Open House to educate the public on services available to women and children, to showcase the $500,000 investment in renovations continuing to be made to the unit and to meet with healthcare professionals on a variety of issues.
Visitors will receive health screenings, tour facility rooms, meet staff pediatricians and receive instructions and resources for children beginning school through teen years.
The Pittsylvania and Danville Health Departments will also be on-site providing free TDAP vaccinations to children entering the sixth grade. Parents must have the child’s current immunization record available.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given away at the Open House.
