Rebekah Logan brings 12 years of experience
Danville, VA - Sept. 27, 2007 - Rebekah (Becky) Langston Logan has been named Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC).
Logan brings more than 12 years of healthcare leadership experience to her new role.
“I’m looking forward to applying my skills in working with the great group of associates and physicians at DRMC. I’m also looking forward to becoming a permanent part of the greater Dan River region,” Logan said.
Logan’s experience includes several healthcare leadership roles including chief operating officer and chief nurse executive roles for hospitals in Georgia and South Carolina.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Becky’s level of expertise join our hospital and we are looking forward to the leadership role she will play in working primarily with the nursing staff, but the overall hospital as well,” said Ruth McDaniel, interim CEO of DRMC.
Logan began her career as a staff nurse, working in the medical/surgical, labor and delivery, emergency services and critical care areas. She received her Associate of Science degree from Northwest Alabama State Junior College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Clayton State College in Morrow, Georgia and her Master’s of Science in Nursing Administration from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia.
“This is such a beautiful part of the country, and I am looking forward to spending time getting to know the area and the residents of the Dan River region,” Logan added. She has a grown son and another son in college.
