Danville Regional Launches New Advertising: Associates Featured in Campaign

Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) unveils a series of new print and broadcast advertisements featuring DRMC associates, volunteers and physicians.

DANVILLE, Va. (Sept. 4, 2007) - Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) today unveiled a series of new print and broadcast advertisements featuring DRMC associates, volunteers and physicians.

“We are proud to serve the people of the Dan River region. That’s why this campaign is called ‘Healthcare Neighbor to Neighbor,’” said Ruth McDaniel, interim CEO for DRMC.

“Associates from throughout the hospital, including the Critical Care unit, food services, pharmacy and environmental services, are included in this communications effort. They wanted to let the community know about their pride and commitment to serving others.”

DRMC Director of Community Relations and Marketing Leslie Smith said, “We need to work hard every day to keep and build the trust of the community. Our associates spoke from their hearts in these ads. They want the community to know this hospital is the place to go for quality healthcare provided by people you know.”

A website with all of the ads is now available to the public at http://www.HealthcareNeighbortoNeighbor.com. It features all of the ads as well as videos from other associates. These on-line testimonial videos will change every two weeks.

The ads will appear in regional newspapers and on outdoor boards, television and radio stations for several months.
