Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) is hosting a holiday fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Danville. Businesses and community organizations are encouraged to purchase a Christmas tree from Danville Regional and decorate the tree by Dec. 10. Members of the community are invited to vote for their favorite tree and bid on their favorite tree during a silent auction. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Danville.
WHAT: Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) is proud to host a holiday fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Danville. Beautiful, 7.5-foot pre-lit Christmas trees have been purchased and placed throughout the first and second floor main lobby areas of the hospital. Businesses and community organizations are encouraged to purchase a tree ($500 contribution) and complete the decoration of the tree by Friday, Dec. 10.
Members of the community are invited to view the trees Dec. 11 through Dec. 17 and vote for their favorite tree. Individuals and organizations may also participate in a silent auction during this time by bidding on their favorite tree ($50 starting bid for each tree.
The winning tree will be moved to the main entrance of the hospital and displayed for all to enjoy. All Christmas trees will remain on display until Monday, Dec. 20.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Danville.
