In the graduating class of 31 nursing candidates, 97 percent of them, or 30 out of 31, passed the exam. The national average is 91.5 percent.
“For the past five to seven years, the class has averaged a pass rate of more than 90 percent,” said Kamela Deel, director of DRMC’s Nursing Program. “We’re just ecstatic about this year’s scores and proud of the students. They tried hard, and we put forth every effort, and it paid off.”
Every graduating nurse who was seeking employment was able to find a job.
