Danville Regional Medical Center welcomes new family and occupational health doctor

Danville Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Daniel Addis, M.D./D.O. has joined its medical staff.

DANVILLE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WELCOMES NEW FAMILY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DOCTOR

Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) is proud to announce that Daniel Addis, M.D./D.O. has joined its medical staff.

Dr. Addis will lead DRMC’s Family and Occupational Health Practice, providing service to the entire family.  Dr. Addis will also serve as the Medical Director for the Occupational Health program and assist local businesses with employee health issues.  His office, Piedmont Family and Occupation Medicine, is located at 219 Parker Road and opened June 1.

“I am excited to be back at DRMC and continue to provide services to the surrounding community,” said Dr. Addis.  “I look forward to maintaining the relationships I have already established in the nearby area and to form new ones.”

Dr. Addis is a graduate of the Minsk Medical Institute in Belorussia and received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998 from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He then interned at the Nassau County Medical Center and performed his residency at the JFK Family Practice Center in New York.  Dr. Addis practiced family health at DRMC from 2002 until 2005, and at Piedmont Prime Care of Danville from 2005 until 2009.

“Dr. Addis has a broad background in the field of family and occupational health and will provide a key service to the region. We are proud to welcome him back to the DRMC family,” said Jerel Humphrey, DRMC CEO.
