Offering Adds Assurance and Support to New and Expectant Mothers
DANVILLE, VA - (July 5, 2007) - Danville Regional Medical Center has opened Mother's Resource Center, a new resource for expectant and new mothers. The Center is open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located on the first floor of the Medical Center.
“Our goal at Mother's Resource Center is to assist new and expectant mothers in providing the best care for themselves and their babies,” said Marianna Wilmoth, RN/Certified Lactation Consultant and the Center’s manager. “We are so proud to offer this resource to the community,” she added.
Mother's Resource Center offers a full line of high-quality, affordable products including: Medela Electric & Manual Breast Pumps; Personal Fit breast shields; cleaning products for pumps and pump parts; nipple shields; breast milk collection and storage bags; disposable and cotton bra pads; Purlan lanolin cream; sore nipple shells; inverted nipple shells; nursing stools; maternity and postpartum supports; comfort nursing and sleep bras; Adiri breastfeeding bottle nursers; swaddling blankets; Boppy pillows;baby loungers and pregnancy wedges. The Center also offers access to a Certified Lactation Consultant.
