The employees of Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) have collected more than 1300 lbs of perishable goods to assist with hunger needs in the Danville area community - just in time for Thanksgiving. The food will be donated to God’s Storehouse on Monday, November 24, 2008, at 1 pm. 

God’s Storehouse is a private, non-profit organization that collects, stores and distributes large quantities of food to the poor, the elderly, and children in our community. The organization was established in 1987 by a group of area churches dedicated to serving the underprivileged and those in need of food.

The employees of DRMC challenge other individuals and organizations in the community to assist and lend a helping hand during these difficult economic times by donating perishable goods to help meet the needs of our community.

DRMC will deliver the donation on Monday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m.
