Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC) announces the addition of Anupreet Oberoi, MD, to its medical staff as a family medicine physician. She is a board-certified family medicine physician and will practice at the Family Healthcare Center of Danville on Piney Forest Road.
Dr. Oberoi received her Medical Doctor degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College at Delhi University in India. She also completed her intern year at Lady Hardinge Medical College. Dr. Oberoi then completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Kasturba Hospital in India before coming to the United States and recently completing her Family Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Oberoi to Danville Regional,” said CEO Eric Deaton. “She helps fill the void of family practice physicians here in Danville and will provide an international perspective to the medical practice at DRMC. With her extensive training, she will provide quality service and care to the members of the Dan River region.”
Following her three-and-a-half year residency program at Kasturba Hospital, Dr. Oberoi served as Senior Resident at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in New Delhi. During her Residency, Dr. Oberoi was the lead investigator in a quality improvement research project at ETSU and presented the project to the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians, state chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
“Danville is a great place for me to grow my practice,” said Dr. Oberoi. “Danville Regional is a great hospital with talented people, and I am looking forward to interacting with members of the community and providing quality care.”
