Sports Medicine Topic of Free Seminar

Dr. Krome Speaks at Danville Regional Medical Center

DANVILLE, VA - (August 7, 2006) - The first in a series of seminars on orthopedic care will be held Tuesday, August 8 at Danville Regional Medical Center.


The seminars, called BodyTalk, are being held monthly by the Medical Center and Danville Orthopedic Clinic to educate the public on orthopedic care.

Jonothan Krome, M.D. will speak on sports medicine at the first seminar, scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Dinning Room at the Medical Center. BodyTalk is open to the public at no charge. Reservations are requested and can be made by calling 799-WELL.

Krome earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He spent one year in a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Hughston Sports Medicine Foundation in Georgia. He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

Stuart J. Kramer, M. D., Mark C. Hermann, M. D., and Joseph Campbell, M.D. also are physicians at Danville Orthopedic Clinic. Orthopedics involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and injuries to bones, joints, tendons, muscles, ligaments and nerves.
