We Can’t Praise Them Enough
I had to bring my cousin Reinhart Anderson from Florida to the
emergency room the evening of September 7. Your staff from the emergency
room registration desk to the doctor and nurses that attended to him were
wonderful. We can’t praise them enough!
There is one issue that I think your hospital could improve on and that
is signs. We live in Ruffin and had been by the hospital hundreds of
times but never had gone there. Once we got in front of the hospital
(the old entrance) we had no idea where the emergency room was or how to
get there. It was very frustrating because we wasted several minutes
riding around trying to find the entrance. Please put up some signs
letting people know how to get into your wonderful hospital so they
won’t feel the frustration that we went through.
There is one nurse that really went above and beyond for us and her name
was Karen. We found out that there are several Karen’s on this floor but
she was blond and had the compassion and understanding of a saint. We
really can’t praise and thank her enough for her kindness.
Also Dr. Leeky (I’m sure I didn’t spell that right) was awesome. She
treated Reinhart, his wife and us (his cousins) with total respect. She
gave all of us time to ask questions after she gave her assessment of
the situation. She is truly a blessing and a wonderful addition to your
hospital.
Thanks again for taking care of Reinhart, he is at home recuperating
because of the great care he received from all of you.
