The care was unquestionably of the highest quality available. My mother received outstanding care throughout the 39 days.
Danville Regional Medical Center has suffered the brunt of administrative, financial and media abuse. However as a client, whose mother was treated for a serious medical condition, be assured that the staff of this facility is among the most outstanding health care providers in the country.
I visited the hospital for 39 days and never had any concerns about the care administered to my mother. I was there for the evacuation. Had anyone from the media been in the hospital, they could have reported that the hospital had in place for emergencies provided the patients with uninterrupted care at the same high level they received before the situation.
The doctors, nurses, technicians, physical therapists, and house keeping staffs are the most positive group of individuals that I have ever encountered in a health care facility. Their caring attitudes contributed to the positive outlook for healing that my mother experienced.
Danvillians need to use common sense. I had heard horrible tales about the care at Danville Regional Medical Center. However, my father and I decided to observe the care my mother received and base our decisions on her needs.
Danvillians need to do the same. The care was unquestionably of the highest quality available. My mother received outstanding care throughout the 39 days.
I’m a resident of Maryland, with access to the University of MD and The Johns Hopkins Medical Centers and I can truly say that the care my mother received was much more personable and comparable to the care at the Maryland hospitals. I have shared our experience with The Danville Register and Bee with the hopes that the citizens of Danville will recognize the exceptional group of health care providers that work daily to provide Danville with quality health care.
A letter has been forwarded to The Danville Register and Bee to report the positive experience of the Guill Family. Thanks again and may God bless the staff of Danville Regional Medical Center.
Sincerely,
Julie Guill Curran
