Every employee was friendly and helpful.
I have followed most of the reports regarding what used to be called The Memorial Hospital of Danville. I am sure I was not the only person to ask where to go if hospital care was necessary.
I concluded that I would go to Danville Regional Medical Center. I feel strongly that a community needs a hospital and that Memorial had served my family well since the 1950s. I, as a potential patient, should do my best to keep it going. Also, it’s hard on family members when there is illness. Making trips out of town would only add to their woes. Besides, we have excellent doctors right here.
In March, I went to Danville Regional’s Emergency Department. I got prompt care and felt much better compared to when I came in. Two weeks ago, I was admitted to the hospital and stayed there six days. I am pleased to report that all the tests were done without waiting. My doctors are experts and their care gave me confidence.
Every employee was friendly and helpful. There were minor problems, such as a need for water or medicine. But that was as I said, minor. All I needed to do was ask and it was given.
